Money Bath

I hope this doesn't look too vain, but Caylin had some fun yesterday. Her thing lately has been to empty everything out of our nightstand drawers (she also likes to take all the toys out of that little box and just sit in it). It's quite a pain to clean up again and again, but I guess it could be a lot worse! Anyway, Colby gave me a stack of $1 bills in my Christmas stocking that I have kept in my drawer. Caylin has pulled out the stack before and looked at it, but yesterday she went to town. It was pretty funny to find her like this and then watch her throw money all over!

Half Marathon

I did the half marathon this past weekend and despite my fears, I was able to do it in pretty good time. I really was hoping to be able to do the full marathon, but when it came down to it, training with a little one in the cold just wasn't possible. Thanks to my wonderful husband for getting up early on his only day to sleep in and helping with Caylin. Thanks to my parents and Colby's parents for coming out to support me - it really helped!

My cheering section at mile 7

Caylin didn't like it when we took away the Creamie for the picture
My prize at the end!

Zoo Day!

Thank goodness for warm weather!! (Now if it would just stick around!) Caylin and I went to the zoo today with Kelsey and Hallie. I was so excited that Caylin was interested in more than just the trees, and it was so good to see cute Kelsey and Hallie again. The girls had fun and it was a perfect day!

Ducks and Sudoku

She loves her ducky slippers!
Uncle Chris came by and they read a few books together.
My little bookworm got a hold of one of my Sudoku books and was entertained for quite a while. This is her new face. I frequently turn around to find her staring at me like this. I just have to laugh!

Nigh Nigh

I ordered Caylin another lovey (which she calls "nigh nigh" now) and it came yesterday. She was so excited that she had two of them and carried around one in each hand. Colby went in to check on her during her nap yesterday, and this is how he found her (please notice that she is laying on top of one of the loveys!).

I won!

Okay, so every week I check out Oneity's blog give away and leave a comment in hopes of winning, but of course, it never happens. I am so excited to say that I just won a $50 gift certificate there! Yay! They have some pretty cute things, and I can't wait to go shopping for Caylin! (For those of you who want to check it out, it's oneity.blogspot.com and they post a new give away every Tuesday)

Zion

This past weekend we took a short but much needed vacation to Zion National Park for my family reunion. Caylin had lots of fun running around on the grass chasing bubbles, going swimming, and even did great on our easy (and paved) hike (who wouldn't when you have someone pushing you around in a stroller!). I couldn't believe how beautiful it is there, and the weather was perfect. The last picture is of Caylin sitting with my dad reading a magazine. She sat there and turned the pages over and over again for at least twenty minutes with him. It was the cutest thing to watch!
